Whilst the team was still on “snow” standby for NWAS at our Ladybridge Hall base, our Team Leader was contacted at 21:41 direct by NWAS (Manchester) Control for the team to respond to a residential address in the Great Lever area, with the report of a woman who required treatment. Resources from Greater Manchester Police were already on scene.

Our BM1 Landrover mountain rescue ambulance responded with an appropriately trained crew on board, arriving on scene to meet the GMP officers and the casualty. Our team members treated the patient and subsequently transported her to Royal Bolton Hospital in our Landrover ambulance.
