This afternoon at 15:09hrs, the team was paged by NWAS (Manchester) regarding assistance with the report of a ‘child’ that had slipped down a steep slope near Park Lane, Little Lever, and that NWAS (Manchester) resources were responding.

This call was answered by our Deputy Team Leader, who initiated a full team pager call out at 15:19hrs.

Our Deputy Team Leader responded directly in his vehicle with one other team member on board and our team vehicle BM1 responded at 15:30hrs with three team members on board.

The team were stood down at 15:33hrs by NWAS (Manchester) as the incident had been resolved by the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service crews on scene.
