Today we received a kind £75.00 donation from Horwich New Heart Club with regards to thanks for our provision of Standby Rescue Cover for their Rivington Pike Sponsored Walk, which took place on Sunday 16th May 2010. (See website ’news’ item dated the same)
In a letter to our Team Leader, accompanying this kind donation, Roger Bunyan, Chair of Horwich New Heart Club stated, ” We would like to thank you and all of the team for the work that you do throughout the entire year, in all weather conditions and in so many locations across the region.”
The team has provided Standby Rescue Cover for this event since it first started many years ago, and will be on hand for the 2011 Horwich New Heart Pike Walk scheduled for Sunday 15th May next year.
