Tonight, team callout list member Mark Parry attended a presentation evening at Bury Town Hall, arising from our attendance at the Bury Carnival, which was held in June of this year.

Also represented at this evening’s event were our colleages at Rossendale & Pendle MRT, represented by Graham Dalley, who like ourselves also attended the Bury Carnival.

In total, 43 other charitable organisations were represented at the presentation, the aim of which was to distribute funds raised from the recent Bury Carnival to chosen charities.

On behalf of the team, Mark was very pleased to accept a £100 donation from the Bury Lions, which was presented by The Worshipful the Mayor of the Bury Metropolitan Borough Mr. John Byrne, and The Worshipful the Mayoress of the Bury Metropolitan Borough Mrs. Brenda Byrne.

The entire team would like to thank all those who helped organise and raise funds for the Bury Carnival, and of course to the general public who gave so generously on the day of the event.
