Early this afternoon the team was paged by NWAS (Manchester) to attend and assist an ambulance already on scene, dealing with an injured person (Understood to be a bike rider) on a track in the Philips Park area of Whitefield.

With team members responding to collect team vehicles and a small number of others close to the incident scene, we were stood down by NWAS (Manchester) Control as they had managed to access and extricate the casualty with their own resources.
