Today we have received a large number of donations all in the memory of the late Mr Eric Edmund Leigh of Paderborn Court, Bolton.

Eric Leigh died on 26th July 2010 and in lieu of flowers it was suggested that donations be made in his memory to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Eric’s son Ian Leigh is a former call out list member of the team and a former Deputy Team Leader, whilst Ian’s wife Gill, daughter in law of the late Eric Leigh is a serving team call out list member.

In total donations of £250.00 have been received in memory of the late Eric Leigh, combined with an earlier donation of £15.00 (Please see website ’news’ article dated Saturday 28th August 2010)

The condolences of the entire team membership are expressed to the wife of the late Eric Leigh, Mrs Barbara Leigh, and his family and friends.

Grateful thanks are expressed to all who have made donations in the memory of Eric to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
