In mid-January 2010 we found out that we had been named as a Charity Beneficiary in the will of the late Miss Jean Noreen Redwood of Darwen, who sadly passed away on 29th October 2009.

Jean also kindly named a great many others in her will as beneficiaries, including our colleagues in Rossendale and Pendle MRT, the North West Air Ambulance, the RNLI and the Ramblers Association.

Today the team received from Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors of Darwen, acting on behalf of the estate of the late Miss Jean Noreen Redwood, the final payment as a Charity Beneficiary of £650.79, this being in addition to the first interim payment of £468.75 received by the team on 9th March 2010, the second interim payment of £1.562.50 received by the team on 17th March 2010, and a third interim payment of £2,187.50 received by the team on 24th May 2010. (We have therefore now received very kind payments totaling £4,869.54)

The teams condolences are expressed to all who knew Miss Redwood, with the team having placed a Dedication Plaque in her name in our Base / HQ. (As we do with all donations of this nature)
