Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

22nd October 2010

Today our Team Training Officer Elaine Gilliland received a very kind email of thanks from Diane Baker of Rossendale and Pendle MRT who attended the recent Joint foundation Course in Mountain Rescue as a trainee. Her email kindly stated:

“On behalf of myself and the Rossendale trainees,
I would like to say a massive thank to yourself and the Bolton team for the Foundation Weekend.

We all really enjoyed it and learnt a lot as well as consolidating existing skills.

We were particularly impressed by the organisation which enabled us to cram so much into the weekend.

We all really appreciate the time and effort that went into making the weekend a huge success. Once again thank you on behalf of the team.

Kind regards, Diane.”

(Please also see related website articles giving thanks for this course over the last week, from Chris Griffiths of NEWSART, Leslie Wilson of Calder Valley SRT and Jo McClure of Cheshire SART, along with the comments reported from Trainees at the end of the course itself, to be found within the Joint Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue 2010 main report itself)
