This evening we hosted a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by nine Scouts and their two Scout Leaders from the 10th Eccles Scout Group.

They were met by Team Call Out list members Chris Tennant and Michael O’Brien, with new Probationary Team members John Dickinson, Andrew Gregory, Geoff Parker and Carly Raines turning up to find out what happens at ’Lecture Visits.’

All were entertained by a search and rescue equipment ’hands on’ demonstration, a tour around our Base / HQ based Land Rover MR Ambulances BM1 and BM3, and a ’trip’ for one of the two Scout Leaders in one of our Mountain Rescue specialist stretchers, carried with enthusiasm by the nine Scouts present!

At the conclusion of their visit, the 10th Eccles Scout Group made a very kind and thoughtful donation to the team of £30.00.
