Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

24th November 2010

Eight team members consisting of our President Bob Hutchinson, Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Training Officer Elaine Gilliland, Neil Aspinall, Mathew Hailwood, Steve Fletcher, Mark Parry and Trainee Team member Nick Berry all journeyed in our BM5 Minibus to the Greenod, Cumbria, workshops of Crake International, part of Lakeland Land Rover, Torver, Coniston, to view progress of our new vehicle fleet and to finalise some key decisions on equipment placements.

At Crake International we were met by Colin Todd, Special Vehicles Manager, who gave us a full overview of progress on our three vehicles to date and we were also able to view vehicles being built and refurbished for Oldham Mountain Rescue and Calder Valley Search & Rescue Team.

After reviewing the specification with Colin all team members agreed on final details and left Crake delighted with progression so far.

We would like to thank Colin Todd for his hospitality and informed progress report.
