Our Chair, Ken Oakes, was recently pleased to accept the kind donation of £20 from Mrs. Janice Sheaffer, a Bolton resident.

Janice is a work colleague of Ken’s wife, at the High Street Library in Bolton, who contributes to charities at Christmas in lieu of sending Christmas cards and was obviously aware of the Team, no doubt when Ken’s wife has told her about being married to this person who with little warning suddenly dashes off shouting at this time of the year “its another sledging accident, back in an hour or two!”

Janice kindly chose us as part of her donations and on behalf of the entire Team membership we thank her for this thoughtful generosity and wish her a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Ken has also written to Janice to personally thank her.
