This afternoon, the team received a very kind donation from Graham and Ann Wilson of 45 Catherine Street East, Horwich.

Mr and Mrs Wilson, out on one of their regular walks, dropped by our Ladybridge HQ Base to pass over some ‘pennies’ that they had been collecting for us.

Ann and Graham stated that they regularly see the team out around the area and felt, as regular walkers, they would like to make a donation should they ever be in a position that they might need to call on the services of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and that the donation was the culmination of their collection of dropped pennies.

The donation, received on behalf of the team by Elaine Gilliland, Training Officer, amounted to £16.03 and the whole team membership would like to extend their gratitude to Ann and Graham for their kindness.
