Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

21st February 2011

Today, four team members journeyed to Crake International to view progress of the conversion work on the team’s 3 new Landrover 110 Defenders.

Team President Bob Hutchinson, Training Officer Elaine Gilliland, along with long-serving team members Steve Fletcher and Neil Aspinall were met by Colin Todd, Special Vehicles Manager, who gave us a full overview of progress on our three vehicles to date. Whilst Steve worked tirelessly throughout the day on the configuration and programming of each of the vehicle’s radios, Elaine and Bob confirmed the font and positioning of the sponsorship logos and Neil reviewed the decals and internal dash fittings.

After reviewing work carried out so far, we estimate that the vehicles could be ready in the next four to six weeks!
