On Tuesday evening, 8th March 2011, we welcomed a very interested group of Scouts and Cubs from the 1st Turton St Anne’s Scout Group to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ for a visit to the team.

At the end of their visit those present held a collection, and promptly donated to the team the very kind amount of £40.06p.

Today we received in the post a fantastic surprise in the guise of a wonderful £265.00 donation from the 1st Turton St Anne’s Scout Group.

Accompanying the donation was a letter from Group Scout Leader Gill Burns, explaining that the money had been raised by the Group’s Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, who held a recent Spring Fair.

The whole team membership extends its very grateful thanks to all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders at 1st Turton St Anne’s Scout Group for their much appreciated and kind support of the team.
