Our Team Secretary, Gillian Gregory, went along to join in a charity line-dancing night at St Mary’s Parish Centre, Horwich, at the invitation of Jean Mulvaney, the organiser of the event. Over sixty club members joined in the dancing and supported the fundraising tombola and raffles. An excellent meat & potato pie and peas supper was enjoyed by all present. Towards the end of the evening, Jean presented Gillian with a fantastic total of £382.65 raised for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team. This is Jean’s second fundraising evening for the Team, a similar event was held in April 2010, with promise of more support in the future.
