Today our Team President Bob Hutchinson was invited to the weekly lunch meeting of the Rotary Club held at Smithills Coaching House (Mr Pip’s room!). Bob was met by Brian Southwood (Hon. Secretary) and introduced to Ken Hahlo (President)

After a delicious lunch (far better than Bob’s usual sandwich!) Bob was invited by President Ken Hahlo to give a short update on the team and its incidents/capabilities.

After the talk there was a little time for questions before Ken presented to Bob on behalf of the Team a cheque for the superb amount of £552.00. The donation was from monies raised by the Rotarians from their participation in the Bolton IRONMAN UK 2010 competition.

At the conclusion of business some of the group who did not have to dash off back to work spent time admiring our Team Land Rover Ambulance, Bolton Mobile 3, one of the new vehicles only recently coming into service in April 2011.
