Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

23rd July 2011

At 19.33hrs this evening we were paged by NWAS (Manchester) Belle Vue Control, to attend a reported incident in the Hall i’ th’ Wood area of Bolton, where it was believed someone had fallen from rocks in a woodland.

The call was answered by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, but whilst receiving further information from NWAS Control it was quickly established that the responding Emergency Ambulance crew could easily access the casualty and the team was therefore not required.

A full team pager stand down message page was made at 19.41hrs.

By this time a number of team members were already en route to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to crew vehicles.

This request upon the team has been noted here for information only and is not recorded within our Incident Listings.
