On Thursday 2nd December 2010, three team members gave a presentation on the work of the team to the Probus Club of Worsley, at their meeting venue of Walkden (Formerly St Andrews) Methodist Church, Manchester Road, Walkden, Worsley, receiving a wonderfully kind donation of £115.18p from the Probus Club members present.
During our visit, the three ladies who made the tea, coffee and biscuits for the Probus Club meetings, explained to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, that they regularly donate the profits from their drinks and biscuits to charities of their choice, and that they would consider supporting the team in the future.
Today we are very pleased to announce the receipt of a kind and thoughtful £50.00 donation from the three ladies involved, Mrs E. Dance, Mrs I. Davidson and Mrs M. Howard, who all kindly decided to support us.
The whole team extends its thanks to the three wonderful ladies involved for their kindness and support of the team.
