Whilst the Police, Ambulance and Mountain Rescue were present on scene with the previous incident, a family living opposite the point where all the emergency Vehicles were located, requested help at circa 21.19hrs, regards their 3 years old daughter who had fallen at her home, sustaining a head injury.

Initial casualty care and assessment was carried out, and an additional NWAS Emergency Ambulance was requested to attend.

Whilst awaiting this second vehicle, a small group of team members monitored the child and comforted the family. (The first NWAS crew having deployed to locate the casualty at the previous incident)

An NWAS (Manchester) Emergency Ambulance transported the injured child to Salford Hope Hospital.
