Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

11th August 2011

Following on from our attendance at the Community Safety Day / 999 Emergency Services Day in Darwen Town Centre on Saturday 6th August (please see website news article of the same day) our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE has received this evening an email from the organiser of the event, Lancashire Constabulary PCSO Nick Gisicz, who in turn has passed on to us the following thanks from Police Sergeant Mark Wilson of the Darwen Neighbourhood Police Team:

Dear all, please can you pass on my thanks to your teams and colleagues that attended Darwen 999 day last week. It was a successful event and the positive feedback we received from the public was fantastic.

Your teams showed a great enthusiasm which made the day (despite the rain) a great success.

Nick, once again, thanks for organising the event.

Thanks again
Regards Mark
