Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

On Sunday 31st July 2011, George Taylor Seddon, aged 95, of Worsley, Manchester, the father of our Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon, sadly passed away.

On Wednesday 7th September 2011, we received a very large number of donations in memory of the Late George Taylor Seddon, totaling £1,565.00.

On Saturday 17th September 2011, we received a further donation in the memory of the Late George Taylor Seddon, totaling £20.

This evening we can report the receipt of a further very kind and thoughtful donation of a further substantial number of very kind and thoughful donations all in memory of the Late George Taylor Seddon to the sum of £735.00, bringing the total sum of donations in his memory to the team to £2,320.00.

The team wishes to thank all who have made thoughtful donations in the memory of the late George Taylor Seddon to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

A dedication memorial plaque is to be erected at our Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ in the memory of George.
