Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th November 2011

This evening as part of a programme of delivering some communications training by NWAS (GMA) to the Mountain Rescue Teams operating in Greater Manchester, five of our team members joined three colleagues from Kinder MRT in journeying to NWAS (Greater Manchester Area) Belle Vue Emergency Control Centre to receive such training.

Our members present were Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon, Training Officer Elaine Gilliland, Steve Fletcher and Mike Marsh.

The Bolton MRT would like to express its sincere thanks to NWAS Senior Manager Andrew Redgrave for setting up this training, Angie Lee NWAS Control Manager Belle Vue ECC for her administrative help and Martin Hawksworth NWAS Control Manager Belle Vue ECC for actually providing the training in a very easy to understand way.

The same training will also be delivered by NWAS (GMA) to our colleagues at Oldham MRT and Rossendale and Pendle MRT.
