This evening the team was pleased to receive a visit by eighteen members of Lostock Athletics Club. The club has been a supporter of the team and made many donations to support the work we do over recent years. The team in turn has assisted the club by providing Standby Rescue Cover at events organised by the club.

After a welcoming cup of tea upon their arrival, our Team President, Bob Hutchinson gave a short introduction and then handed over to long serving team member Diane Blakeley who presented a slide show of the Teams work and capabilities. This was followed by a short video showing the work of Mountain and Cave Rescue Teams throughout the Britain and Ireland.

After a question and answer session it was down to the garage to allow the visitors to look over one of the new team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicles. A quick group photo was taken then the visitors were off to start their annual AGM meeting.
