Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

18th December 2011

Team member Mark Scott was pleased and honoured to be invited, as a representative of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, to give a reading at the Town Carol Service today. The service was held in Bolton Parish Church at 6pm and other guests who gave readings included the Mayor of Bolton Councillor Noel Spencer MBE , David Crausby MP and the Principal of Bolton College, Marie Gilluley. Mark’s wife Megan attended with him and both enjoyed the service immensely.

Mark would like to thank the organiser, Pat Whalley and the Vicar, the Reverend Matt Thompson, for inviting him to give the reading on behalf of the team and for a most enjoyable service.
