At 22:23 this evening, the team was paged by NWAS Manchester Emergency Control Centre who were requesting our assistance at an unfolding incident in the Darcy Lever area of Bolton.
A 999 call had been received a short time earlier with the report of an injured male underneath a bridge in the bounds of the disused railway near to Gorses Road, Darcy Lever.
Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon mobilised the team at 22:27; with a quick response from the team resulting in the first vehicle mobilising at 22:38, and our first team member, Dave Marsh (who lives local to the incident location) arriving on scene at 22:31.
