At 20.45hrs this evening, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was contacted directly by a GMP Missing Person Search Manager, to give notice of the teams assistance being required in regards to a missing person enquiry.

As Garry received the call whilst on holiday ski-ing in Italy the call was passed to other contacts within the team!

So, at 20:52 this evening, the team (in the UK!) was contacted by Greater Manchester Police Specialist Search Unit, who requested that the team be put on standby for a search for a missing male in the Davyhulme area of Urmston.

A male had been reported last seen at 17:00 hrs by a concerned family member. The team were paged at 21:09 hrs to go to standby for a search whilst the Police gathered further information.

At 22:35 hrs, the team were contacted by Greater Manchester Police to inform that the man had been located and the team were stood down at 22:38 hrs.
