On Sunday evening, 27th November 2011, (See website report dated the same) we were called to assist NWAS (Lancashire) with the stretcher evacuation of a woman who had collapsed on a canal boat on the Leeds Liverpool Canal at Adlington, Lancashire.

Today we are very pleased to have received via the Charities Aid Foundation, a kind and thoughtful donation of £28.49 from the woman involved, Mrs Joy Roscoe of Adlington.

The whole team joins in wishing Mrs Joy Roscoe a continuing recovery back to full health and extends thanks for her donation to the team.
