This evening the team welcomed twenty three interested visitors to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ from the 4th Farnworth Scout Group, including Cubs, Scouts and Leaders.

On hand to meet them were former SARDA / Bolton MRT Dog Handler Dave Marsh, long serving and very experienced team members Chris Tennant and Gillian Leigh, and newer members Nick Berry and John Dickinson.

After an introduction (in the main room) by Gill Leigh telling them about the team and what we do, Dave Marsh then gave an account of his time as a Search Dog Handler and the use of Search Dogs.

All then split into three groups, doing in turn ; CPR using our Resusi Annie with Dave Marsh, a look over our vehicles and the inevitable demonstration of their very loud sirens and blue lights, by Nick Berry and John Dickinson and mountain rescue stretcher handling taken by Gill Leigh and Chris Tennant.

All then met together again, presenting us with a very kind £36.00 donation, which was gratefully received by our Team members present.
