We are very happy to report the receipt today of a very kind and wonderful £160.00 donation from our long standing friends and supporters at Darwen Dashers Running Club.

On Friday evening, 24th February this year, the team provided standby rescue cover for the inaugural and quite unique night time “Mr Sparkles’s Dark ‘Un’ ” Fell Race, held upon Darwen Moor, organised by Darwen Dashers Running Club member Simon Fox, with the specific intention of raising funds for the Bolton MRT.

Such was the success of the event that Simon Fox reported to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE that not only had the Fell Race been a success in raising £160.00 for the Bolton MRT, but also that more than enough interest has been generated to make this an annual event in the Darwen Dashers Running Club calendar.
