Today, the Team learned of an incident involving [Daniel] the son of Greater Manchester’s Fire and Rescue search dog handler, Mike Dewar.
Dan was attending a charity football game at Old Trafford on Sunday as a spectator. Whilst transitting to the ground, a road traffic collision took place and one of the vehicles involved, rolled over Dan and one of his friends crushing them. The two young men were rushed to Hope Hospital Salford and were duly operated on for the numerous injuries they sustained in the accident. Dan suffered a fractured skull amongst other injuries. To date, both are still in intensive care at Hope Hospital.
Mike and Daniel’s mother Sue, who were on holiday in France, rushed to be at the bedside of their son.
All at Bolton MRT wish to register their support for Daniel, Mike and Sue and wish Dan a speedy recovery.
