On conclusion of the previous incident at Rivington Pike whilst team members were departing scene, the team was paged by NWAS (Greater Manchester) Control Room to assist with an incident at North Cheshire Equestrian Centre in Sale. Deputy Team Leader, Geoff Seddon, contacted the control room to be informed that assistance was required by the ambulance service and a full team call out page was sent at 13:28 hrs.
All four Bolton Mountain Rescue Team Land Rover Ambulance vehicles were deployed to the incident scene at the Equestrian Centre to be informed that a 999 call had been made to NWAS regarding a body in the woods adjacent to the Centre.
Land Rover Bolton Mobile Two, carrying an NWAS paramedic, alongside a police vehicle, also with a paramedic on board were deployed approximately one mile along a track to discover a collapsed male in the woods.
The male casualty was evacuated in BM2 along with the NWAS paramedic back to the Equestrian car park where he was loaded into the waiting ambulance.
The ambulance departed the scene at 14:05 hours and all team members had departed the scene by 14:10 hours.
