With the increasing diversity of Search & Rescue equipment within the team and with particular emphasis on the teams water SAR equipment, our Team Council recently decided that in the best interest of the team we needed a new Council post creating to cater for this need.

This evening 27 team members assembled for a Special General Meeting at our Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ and voted unanimously to create the new post of Equipment Officer (Water).

Further to this a vote then took place, at which Team Callout List Member John Fletcher, aged 24, a self-employed Electrician and a White Water Raft Guide and Climbing Instructor, with interests in other water related activities, was elected to the post

The team now has six Equipment Officers within the Team Council, all with specific areas of responsibility.
