Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th July 2012

At 16.11hrs this afternoon, the team was paged by GMP requiring our help with a developing search for a missing seven year old boy.

The call was answered by our Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon, who gathered more information from GMP, establishing that the child was missing in the Mill Hill area of Bolton.

By 16.16hrs Geoff had placed the full team on standby, whilst he further liaised with GMP about potential search areas in the Seven Acres Country Park, and Tonge Cemetary areas.

By circa 16.37hrs the good news was received that thankfully the missing boy had been found, and with a full confirmation soon afterwards the team was stood down at 16.43hrs.

This request for the teams services is reported here for information and interest only and does not feature in our Incident Listings.
