Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

20th July 2012

Today we can announce that on the 18th July this week, we received a number of donations totalling a very kind and thoughtful £70.00 all received in the memory of the Late Philip Clarence Platt of Great Lever, Bolton, who sadly died on 9th June this year, aged 64 years.

We would like to thank all who made donations to the Bolton MRT in Mr Platt’s memory, including Roseneath Residents Association.

The sincere condolences of the entire team membership are extended to Mrs Margaret Platt on the loss of her husband, and to his family, friends and colleagues.

The Late Philip Platt has previously supported the team in a manner known only to ourselves and his wife Margaret, and we appropriately thanked Mr Platt and his wife personally at the time. May we take this opportunity in Philips passing to publicly mourn a very kind man who was a truely valued supporter of our team.
