Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

22nd August 2012

Regular readers will note our support of our colleagues at Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team, with our donation of some surplus equipment items to NORLSAR. (See website ‘news’ items dated Monday 13th August 2012 and Tuesday 21st August 2012)

During the visit by Paul Chamberlain, Chairman of NORLSAR on 13th August 2012 to our Base / HQ our Team Leader, Garry Rhodes MBE, tongue in cheek (Webmaster, yeah right !) suggested that although all the surplus Bolton MRT kit items were being donated free of charge, perhaps a few sticks of Seaside Norfolk rock wouldn’t go amiss!

Guess what arrived in this mornings post at our Team Leader’s house?

Garry commented, “Any hope of sharing the said rock with team members is a no go, I’m afraid my two young grand children have beaten all the team members to it !”
