Following the team’s attendance at the successful GMFRS Wigan Fire Station Open Day event on Saturday 25th August 2012 (see website report dated the same) our Team Leader received today the following kind comments from Steve Sheridan, GMFRS Wigan Borough Manager.

Can I pass on my gratitude and appreciation to everyone who attended on Saturday last, making the Wigan Open Day a successful event. Not only were we blessed with decent weather; several thousand families attended and gained valuable lifesaving advice from partners.
