Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd October 2012

Tonight our Team Base was visited by 20th Bolton Cub Pack (Chequerbent). The group was met by experienced Team members Gill Leigh and Paul Chisholm, along with trainee search dog Bella and Paul’s daughter Courtney.

The 10 Cubs and 4 Cub leaders were given a short talk by Gill and Paul, who explained the work of the Team. They were then shown the Team vehicles and enjoyed sounding the horn and working the flashing blue lights! The Cubs also learned how to put together the stretcher and strap someone securely before lifting and realising how heavy it can be to carry a casualty.

The hour passed very quickly and the Cubs went on their way following an enjoyable evening.
