Regular readers of our website will realise that our ‘Recruiting Now’ header from our ‘Home Page’ has now been taken down, with recruitment now closed for our 2012 membership intake.

All on line applications made to date remain valid and will be answered, with invites where appropriate to our three part recruitment sessions commencing on Thursday evening, 25th October 2012.

So far from twenty two applications made to join the team, thirteen persons have confirmed their attendance at our recruitment sessions (Thursday evening 25th October, all day Sunday 28th October and Wednesday evening 31st October)
If you have applied on line to join the team, and have not yet confirmed your attendance at our recruitment sessions, we ask that you reply immediately to the reply email information sent out to you.

For the Sunday 28th October all day long practical ‘exercises’ part of our three part recruitment process, at this stage early indications are that the weather on Sunday will be a lot colder than of late, and with the moors being ‘very wet’ at the moment, conditions for those wanting to join the team and to find out the conditions in which we operate in, are looking ‘quite challenging.’

The team does not envisage holding its next new member recruitment drive until Autumn 2013 at the very least.

Recruitment to our Support Group meanwhile remains open.
