Today we are very pleased to announce the receipt of a truly wonderful donation from St Anne’s Parish Church, Turton. (In the Church of England’s Turton Moorland Ministry in the Diocese of Manchester)

In a letter to the Bolton MRT, Kathleen Smith, Treasurer of St Anne’s Parish Church, situated on High Street, Turton, Bolton, states;

“To Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, I have pleasure in enclosing a cheque for £300.00 from the proceeds of our Flower Festival held earlier this year – for the work of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.”

The whole membership of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team extends its full and sincere thanks to all at St Anne’s Church, Turton, for such a kind and very thoughtful generous donation.
