On Sunday 4th November 2012, we reported within our website on the naming of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance BM4 in honour of our valued and long standing team friend and supporter Jim Fletcher BEM.
Today we are very pleased to report on the receipt by our Secretary Gillian Gregory of a very kind letter of thanks from Jim and his partner June on their special day with the team.
“Dear friends, thank you so much for your kind hospitality to June and myself on Sunday 4th November. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The tour of your headquarters was truly amazing, and the reception we received was so emotional for me with the flowers and champagne, but to see my name on one of your vehicles was the icing on the cake. I still can’t believe it and I haven’t slept properly since. Once again a big big thank you for all your kindness, and if I can help in any way in the future, please let me know. Yours sincerely, Jim and June, (Thank you for your kindness and to let you know how much it means)”
The team was happy to name our Land Rover BM4 in Jim’s honour and it is great that Jim and June feel the way they have so kindly described above about the way we have honoured their support of the team.
