Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE in the company of Team Trainee member Nigel Booth (In full time, a GMFRS Watch Commander at Bolton North Fire Station) journeyed to Beacon Fell Country Park for the third meeting of the Lancashire Fire Operations Group.

This group as regular readers will remember, serves to bring all those who would be involved in wildfire fire fighting operations in Lancashire, together under the direction of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

The meeting today had representatives from Land owners / Estate Owners present, United Utilities, The Moorland Association, Environment Agency, Cumbria FRS, GMFRS, LFRS, Ranger Services, Bay Search and Rescue Team, Bowland Pennine MRT and Bolton MRT, amongst other organisations.
