Today we received a wonderful donation of £165.50p from our valued friends and supporters jointly at the St Mary’s Ramblers, Horwich, and University of the Third Age (U3A) Chorley Local Group, Medium Walking Group.
In a letter to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE accompanying this very kind donation, Mrs Joan Chamberlain, Leader of Chorley U3A Medium Walkers and St Mary’s Ramblers, Horwich, explained that; “Our walkers from both groups have again asked that their Christmas collection be donated to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team. A donation for £165.50p is enclosed with our best wishes to your team team for the New Year and our grateful thanks for all you do for the community.”
The whole team membership extends its fullest and very grateful thanks to all our valued friends at St Mary’s Horwich Ramblers and in Chorley U3A Medium Walking Group, for this very thoughtful donation and for their continuing and very much appreciated support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
