Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

21st January 2013

This morning at 09.04hrs with snowfall again affecting parts of Greater Manchester, NWAS (Greater Manchester) Emergency Operations Centre, paged the team to enquire as to our availability today.

A small number of team members ‘crewed’ two of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicles throughout the period of the snowfall, but fortunately their services were not required during the morning or early afternoon, when road surface conditions vastly improved.
