Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd February 2013

In late October last year team call out list members Neil Aspinall and Martin Banks met with Brian Jones of BCP Fluted Packaging who had expressed an interest in supporting the team. After discussions Brian very kindly agreed to support the purchase of essential incident scene management equipment for our planned Incident Control Vehicle, donating an incredible £1,616.64p to the team.

We are pleased to report that with ’the production’ of our new Incident Control vehicle now well under way the team received on Friday 2nd February 2013, an order of incident scene management equipment from Pro-tec Safety Signs, totally funded and made possible by this kind donation from Brian Jones. Today, with a number of team members at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ the order was checked, placed on our inventory and made ready for operational use.

The equipment purchased includes Incident Scene traffic signage, blue flashing road warning lights of two different types and traffic cones.

Once our new Incident Control Vehicle is in service (Likely to be in April 2013) we will be taking a trip to BCP Fluted Packaging to ’show off’ our new equipment to Brian Jones and to thank him for his appreciated and tremendous support.

The whole team membership would like to thank Brian Jones of BCP Fluted Packaging for his generous donation which made this order possible and the team at Pro-tech safety signs for their great customer service throughout the order process. (Which included with our sincere thanks the donation of ten protective holdall bags for the traffic signage purchased)
