Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received from Mr Blundell of Standish the following very kind letter along with a thoughtful £25.00 donation to the team;
“I am writing to thank the two men on duty (Webmaster: Team members Chris Tennant and Phil Crook) passing through Anglezarke on Sunday morning (10.3.13) who came across me after I had just fallen from my bike and hit the tarmac face first.
I had split my top lip and was bleeding profusely.
They were excellent and kindness itself, helping to stop the bleeding, putting my bike in their vehicle (Webmaster: BM5 our team Minibus) and taking me to the car park to await being picked up by my wife.
Would you please be sure to pass on my thanks to them as I cannot praise them enough.
I enclose a cheque for £25.00 as a token of my appreciation to use as you wish.
