This evening at 19.30hrs we welcomed to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ eighteen Explorer Scouts and their two Leaders from Darwen District Explorer Scouts.
They were met by Team Call Out list members John Dickinson, Kris Kilshaw, and Paul Copley along with Trainee Team member Nigel Booth, who entertained the twenty members of Darwen District Explorer Scouts upto their departure at 21.00hrs.
During their visit the Scouts were split into three groups, who ‘rotated’ around sessions based upon our vehicles at Ladybridge Hall, mountain rescue stretchers, trauma care rucksacs and line rescue equipment.
At the conclusion of their visit, the Scouts from Darwen District Explorer Scouts very kindly presented our team members in attendance with a wonderful donation of £50.00.
