Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

3rd April 2013

We are sad to announce today that we have received news that Long time ‘old’ friend of our team and others in this region, Brian Morgan, sadly passed away this morning after a period of illness in Preston Hospital.

Those in and associated with Bolton MRT who knew Brian Morgan from his days in South Ribble MRT (Which went on to become Bowland Pennine MRT) and his long period as a team member of Langdale Ambleside MRT from the early 1970’s until the mid 2000’s extend their condolences to Brian’s family and friends.

Brian worked at what was Charlotte Mason College as a caretaker, and one of our current members Gill Leigh, recalls Brian from her days as a student there in the late 1980’s.

“Mountain Rescue has sadly lost another one of its characters.”
