Whilst present on the SARDA (Wales) Training weekend, and in the early hours of this morning, our Mountain Rescue Trailing Dog Handler, Bolton MRT member Steve Nelson, and his Trailing Search Dog Boris were called out to assist North Wales Police in the search for a missing male, with the search centred upon the Coed Y Brenin Forest area of North Wales.

Setting off at circa 06.20hrs, as ever, Steve was joined by Bolton MRT Team Call Out list member Elaine Gilliland, who acted as navigator for Steve.

They took part in a search operation, including assets from North Wales Police, South Snowdonia MRT and Aberdyfi MRT.

Steve, Boris and Elaine, all concluded their part in this search operation at around circa 13.30hrs today.
