Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

27th June 2013

This evening Team Equipment Officer (Ropes and Stretchers) Nick Berry travelled from his home town of Wigan to our Base / HQ at Ladybridge, to collect BM3 one of our four Team Land Rover vehicles for a very special evening.

He then drove back to Wigan, to take his son Joseph to his school leavers prom evening at the DW Stadium, Wigan.

They arrived at the DW Stadium at 19.25hrs to be greeted by other school members, and family’s of the school leavers from Standish High School.

They made a grand and unique entrance with blue lights and sirens, standing out amongst the more ‘usual’ stretch limos and sports cars.

The atmosphere was excellent and turned a lot of heads, creating much interest in our vehicle and the Bolton MRT.

Nick and Joseph would both like to thank the team for allowing the use of a Team Land Rover, which made for a very memorable evening for them both.
