Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

5th August 2013

On Tuesday 30th July 2013, we reported within our website on the donation to our friends and colleagues at Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team of some radio equipment now surplus to our needs, following our introduction into team service of our brand new Incident Control vehicle.

We are very happy to report all the donated equipment arrived safely in Norfolk, following which we received the following two emails on Friday 2nd August 2013;

“Dear Mike (Marsh), Steve (Fletcher) and Garry (Rhodes), Once again, a huge thanks to ALL at Bolton MRT for their continued generosity. We are hoping to install an additional radio into the control trailer, one into our new HQ and hopefully one into a landrover that we are being gifted by the Fire Service……… Will keep you all updated on our news and once again a huge thanks from the whole team here in Norfolk.”

“Kind Regards,
Paul Chamberlain,
Team Leader, Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team.”

Jim Whiteside, Radio Officer in Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team, emailed;

“Dear Mike (Marsh) A vey welcome ’care package’ turned up yesterday, many thanks indeed from us all in Norfolk.
Best wishes,
Jim.”
